Kennedy today opened three new boutiques in the heart of Sydney’s luxury shopping precinct, partnering with some of the world’s most prestigious watchmakers.

The landmark openings of the sophisticated Panerai, IWC Schaffhausen and Jaeger-LeCoultre boutiques grows Kennedy, Australia’s leading watch retailer, to 14 boutiques Australia-wide.

Panerai has opened its second stand-alone boutique in King Street which is a blend of the brand’s heritage, craftmanship and technical expertise and connected to its Florentine roots and passion for the underwater world.

“Opening Panerai’s first Australian boutique in Melbourne was an exciting and proud moment for Kennedy and now our close relationship has expanded to the heart of Sydney with a beautiful new boutique that reflects the two companies’ qualities of timeless elegance, luxury and sophistication,’’ said Kennedy Executive Chairman James Kennedy.

Kennedy also partnered with IWC Schaffhausen when they opened their first Australian boutique in Melbourne in February 2018. Watch enthusiasts as well as international visitors to Sydney will now be able to discover the Swiss luxury watch manufacturer’s six watch families in an elegant setting in a prime location on King Street.

“We are proud to grow our partnership with the opening of this second IWC Schaffhausen boutique and are looking forward to upholding the passion, innovation and technical excellence the brand is renowned for,’’ Mr Kennedy said.

After 186 years of rich Swiss history, Jaeger-LeCoultre opened its first Australian boutique in partnership with Kennedy in King Street. The intimate setting instantly connects the clients with the feeling of exclusivity and privacy.

“This first boutique is a celebration of fine watch-making and it is a privilege to be working together,’’ Mr Kennedy said.
