The Pilot’s Watch Chronograph Edition “Royal Maces” is inspired by the military-exclusive edition developed in collaboration with members of the Strike Fighter Squadron 27. In the context of its military program, IWC works with various U.S. naval aviation units to engineer watches that are exclusively available to members of these squadrons.
The Pilot’s Watch Chronograph Edition “Royal Maces” is inspired by the military-exclusive timepiece developed in collaboration with Strike Fighter Squadron 27, which is stationed at Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni in Japan. This chronograph features a 44.5-millimetre black zirconium oxide ceramic case.
The pushers and the crown are made of Ceratanium®, an IWC-developed material combining the lightness and robustness of titanium with the hardness and scratch-resistance of ceramic. The dial carries the “Maces” patch at 6 o’clock and features a yellow day-date indication. The annual production of this chronograph is limited to 500 pieces.
