ROLEX AT KENNEDY
Our History
Kennedy was founded in 1976 with a passion and precision for curating the world’s finest timepieces and jewellery. In 1979, the House of Kennedy joined the global stable of Official Rolex Retailers, first stocking Rolex in its Double Bay Boutique.
KENNEDY WELCOMES ROLEX
In the early 1980s, the Kennedy Sydney Hilton Hotel boutique began to sell Rolex.
Following on from this, Kennedy opened its first Queensland boutique with Rolex in Jupiter’s Casino on the Gold Coast in 1986.
With the success of the Sydney locations, Kennedy opened another boutique in the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Double Bay and in the original Star Casino in the early 1990s.
THE JOURNEY CONTINUES
In the mid-1990s Rolex joined Kennedy in the Sheraton on the Park boutique, then joined the original Crown Hotel in Kennedy’s Crown boutique in 1997.
Kennedy’s refurbished Star boutique began to sell Rolex in 2012, and in 2019, Kennedy opened a stand-alone Rolex boutique within the Star Hotel and Residences.
PIONEERING EXCELLENCE
Kennedy’s first operation of a standalone Rolex boutique was Rolex Martin Place which opened in 2013 and was located inside the heritage listed Henry Davis York building. In 2015 Kennedy also opened a standalone Rolex boutique in Crown Melbourne. Kennedy’s first Western Australian Boutique – Rolex Crown Boutique – was opened in 2017 in Perth.
