Merchandise Manager

The Merchandise Manager is responsible for maximising sales and profits across our brand portfolio. In this newly created role, you will execute the buying and merchandise strategy by defining the range and selection of product, manage key supplier relationships and ensure overall operational and team efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Select the range of product based on analysis and feedback from your team
  • Review post season data and conduct post seasonal analysis
  • Develop and prepare the buying and replenishment proposal in line with category strategy, pricing, profit targets and market positioning
  • Provide analysis on financial reporting as required including category, seasonal and delivery reports
  • Provide input to set budgets and forecasts
  • In conjunction with the Brand & Communications Manager, review marketing, promotional and distribution strategies and implement to optimise sales performance
  • Oversee the relationship with external brands to ensure briefs are adhered to
  • Coach and develop the wider Merchandise team

 

What We Are Looking For:

  • Demonstrated experience in a Merchandise Manager role or similar, with experience in managing a team
  • Knowledge of timepieces and/or jewellery is highly desirable
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Customer focus and outstanding relationship management skills
  • Advanced Excel skills
