HAWTHORN CHAMPION SHAUN BURYGOYNE x KENNEDY

As the Official Timekeeper of the AFL, Kennedy partnered with Champion Hawk Shaun Burgoyne as he shares some of the highs and lows of a fascinating football journey.

His story brings encouragement, guidance and hope for younger AFL players, who will be drafted next week to their first club. Shaun reflects on his own journey, moving from Port Adelaide to Hawthorn, his premiership wins and the wisdom he has gained over the years, counting even his low points as ‘all valuable lessons’.

Shaun considers the significance of generational influence as he remembers players like Dustin Fletcher who he aspired to play like one day, recognising his own role now in passing on that same passion to the next generation.
