Kennedy and Panerai were delighted to host an extraordinary event, to celebrate the collaboration between Panerai and Luna Rossa and also to showcase some amazing timepieces from the Panerai Luna Rossa collections.

Guests gathered at the Panerai boutique at King Street, Sydney to view and try on some exclusive timepieces while enjoying canapés and cocktails. Panerai’s country manager, Stephan Ballarin also attended the event to share this special moment with the guests.

The Luna Rossa challenge is an Italian sailboat syndicate that has been competing since the 2000 America’s Cup. Their most recent win of the Prada Cup is an incredible achievement. Panerai serves as the Official Timekeeper and is recognised as the leading Italian brand, while also working with the entire Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli sailing team to create a collection of advanced watches. Each collaborative piece is inspired by the technologies and materials used in the America’s Cup, such as CarbotechTM, based on carbon fibre, and known for being used to build Luna Rossa’s AC75 monohull.

The evening continued with an intimate private dinner at Sydney’s contemporary harbourside restaurant – Ormeggio at The Spit, where guests enjoyed authentic Italian cuisine prepared by celebrity chef Alexandro Pavoni.
