Baselworld has just ticked over for another year and renowned industry names have delivered on their promise to bring new models to the market. Anniversary and updated releases featured design, details and craftsmanship to match the hype. Here are four that caught our eye.



Tudor Black Bay GMT
The famous Black Bay diver’s watch was presented with a new GMT function and an exclusively designed manufacture calibre MT5652. Finished with a matt burgundy and blue 24-hour rotatable bezel that distinguishes night and day, this latest edition upholds the Diver’s watch as the ergonomic, legible and robust model it’s always been.

Patek Philippe Golden Ellipse 5738R-001
Since its launch in 1968, the Golden Ellipse has become one of Patek Philipe’s most iconic timepieces. On its 50th birthday, this new rose gold version of its renowned timepiece has an ebony black sunburst dial with gold applied hour markers and 18K gold dial plate, an alligator strap with square scales, hand stitched and a shiny black prong buckle.

In tribute to the Apollo 8 crew that were the first humans to ever see the dark side of the moon, OMEGA has produced this incredible black ceramic chronograph with an expertly skeletonised dial, complemented with laser-ablated movement to reveal extraordinary detail and realistic imagery of the lunar surface.

Patek Philippe Ladies Chronograph 7150/250r
The new rose gold feminine face of the manually-wound classic chronograph features a bezel set with 72 diamonds, a silvery opaline dial with gold applied Breguet numerals and an alligator strap with square scales, hand stitched and a shiny mink grey prong buckle set with 27 diamonds.
