Employment History

Kathy commenced work with Coopers & Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers) in the audit division before moving to Crichton & Co to specialise in taxation and business consultancy services. Kathy is therefore part of the Crichton & Co team that merged with Kennedy & Co during November 2005. Throughout the period she has also continued to undertake audit assignments predominately for Companies Limited by Guarantee and Trust Account Audits for Legal Practitioners.

Kathy also developed a specialty in the ever changing area of superannuation, providing taxation and accounting advice to clients throughout numerous legislative changes.

Kathy has had the role of undertaking a management accountant role for a several clients including building and development company, travel agency and caravan park.

Specialist Areas

Kathy's specialty area is predominately focused on business services and taxation, together with superannuation and retirement planning. She works with a wide variety of clients including those in the manufacturing, tourism, building & construction and primary production industries and not for profit organisations.

Kathy's specialist knowledge in superannuation and retirement planning has enabled a large number of clients to attend to succession within their business and comfortable tax effective retirement.

Interests

Kathy's interests include attending to investments including real estate and listed investments, family and movies.
