Employment History

Antoinette commenced employment with a second tier practice of Chartered Accountants in February 1989 as a taxation clerk in the business services area of the firm. She completed the Institute of Chartered Accountants' professional year program in 1993 and was admitted as an Associate. She then joined Kennedy & Co in September 1995 as a Senior in the business services area. Antoinette was appointed a Partner of Kennedy & Co on 3 October 2000. Since becoming a partner, Antoinette has been registered as a Tax Agent.

Specialist Areas

Antoinette has worked primarily in the areas of accounting, taxation and business services, including GST specialising in small to medium sized enterprises and professional clients. She has also had exposure to various insolvency issues, litigation support matters and audit assignments for superannuation funds and not for profit organisations since joining Kennedy & Co.

Antoinette has experience in a number of industries including the legal professions and medical, transport, building and construction, property, investment and marketing.

Antoinette provides support to clients who use accounting software packages, including MYOB and Quicken, as part of the need for ongoing monitoring of performance. Antoinette also assists with various tax planning issues and income tax advice for the firm's clients.

Interests

Antoinette's interests outside the profession include family, theatre and the movies, travel and participation as a spectator at various sporting events.
